When I saw this Nicola Bathie x Antonio Melani vintage print dress I knew I had found my Christmas dress for the year. The whole collection is full of vintage and antique details. Honestly, any one of the dresses in the collection would be perfect for the holiday season. The neckline and print is ultimately what led me to purchasing this vintage styled dress for Christmas. In particular, the print reminds me of Clara from the Nutcracker. If you’ve been following along, you’ll know how obsessed I’ve become with a floral and stripe print. And this vintage Christmas dress made all those dreams come true. But enough rambling, I wanted to give you a review of the dress to consider as it is an investment piece.

Vintage Christmas Dress Review
The quality of this dress, and I’m sure everything else in this collection, it truly beautiful. It’s Brock Collection quality at about half the price. Still a pretty penny, but not nearly as expensive. One thing to note about this dress is the raw edges. The dress has no finished edge, which was concerning to some. However, the fabric is thick and doesn’t fray a ton. It’s an upholstery type fabric and what does fray adds to the vintage style of the dress. Below is a quick bulleted review of the dress overall.
- Size Up – I purchased my normal size and the zipper still gives me some trouble. However, after wearing it a few times it has started to fit me better. If I ordered it again I would still size up one size, just so I can zip the dress by myself without help.
- Impeccable Quality – I can’t even say the quality it “great” because it’s so much more than that. I’ve bought a few dresses over $300 and the quality of those don’t remotely come close to the quality of this dress.
- Worth the Investment – As stated above, for the quality of the dress, the price is just right. I don’t usually spend so much on a Christmas dress but the overall vintage and timeless style convinced me. I’m hoping the whole collection goes on sale shortly after the new year so I can buy more.
