Ever since I discovered Brock Collection, I’ve been obsessed. The prints and silhouettes are just breathtaking. Like something out of Bridgerton. When H&M did a collaboration with them last year, I knew that was my chance to own one of these beautiful pieces. I’ve still longed for more from Brock Collections. But owning a piece that wasn’t in the collaboration was not financially feasible. In comes Rent the Runway. You can rent from the Brock Collection for a fraction of the price. But finding availability to rent pieces was difficult. So when I saw this wallpaper print dress available to rent in a size larger, I jumped on it!

The print is one of my all time favorites. There’s a reason it’s called a wallpaper print, because it resembles old fashioned wallpaper. It seems to be so hard to find a dress with this classic wallpaper print on it. There’s some cute variations that I love, but nothing quite so close to the classic.
Wallpaper Print Dress Review
Like I said, I jumped at the opportunity to rent this wallpaper print dress. Even though it was a size larger than I typically rent, I was sure I could make it work. And while it works fine for photos, it did not work fine to wear for longer than that. The drawstring waist was just so large on me. I’m not sure how they thought that could fit a size 2. Maybe it’s all based on length and not waist. Regardless, even when pulled as tight as my waist, the strings hung so low, and the fabric folded over in the back. As much as I loved the print, I was not a fan of how this dress fit. I honestly don’t think renting it in my size would have helped either. There was just far too much fabric. It felt more like I was wearing a cover up at the beach than an actual dress. So while the dress is super cute and the fabric is great, I will not be renting it again.
