I’ve been following a few 2020 spring dress trends for some time now. For at least a year I’ve been tracking these popular trends and have seen them come back again this spring! These dainty spring dress trends are quickly making themselves a staple in every woman’s wardrobe. Since this whole covid thing started I’ve definitely noticed myself online window shopping more. I wouldn’t say I’ve gone overboard with my spending, but I have been indulging slightly more than usual. At the same time, I’ve started to pull out things from my closet that I don’t typically get to wear for work. It’s basically like getting a whole new wardrobe.

Top 2020 Spring Dress Trends
Eyelet Dresses
Eyelet dresses are easily one of my favorite 2020 spring dress trends because of how much this tiny detail adds to a dress. Whether it’s tiny eyelet detailing all over the dress, or just an eyelet trim, it’s the perfect feature for spring dresses. My favorite eyelet dress that I own is this one that features an open back and tassel detailing.
Smocked Dress
I love me a good smocked dress. Though admittedly I do not own more than one. Smocked dresses are great for a casual outing. Use it as a cover up at the beach or wear it out for a late brunch with friends. Smocked dresses are always fun and casual.
Tiered Dress
Tiered dresses have become my weakness over the past year. I’ve invested in at least 3 and I can tell you right now I want about 20 more. I love how much of a cupcake I feel in a tiered dress. It’s almost like I’m a princess everywhere I wear one.
Puff Sleeves
I think puff sleeves are such a bold statement! Don’t confused them with the shoulder pads of the 80’s though. They are certainly not the same. (I have to say, if it’s done right, shoulder pads are totally back in too). Add a little touch of feminine with a puff sleeve dress this spring.
Slip Dress
If you’ve gone on the internet at all in the past year you’ll have seen the slip dress and skirts make a comeback. To me they’re retro, fun, and very sleek. They always remind me of Jennifer Aniston and that Disney Channel original movie, “My Date with the President’s Daughter”. LOL Which I totally love because it’s a throw back from my younger years. (And I do mean wayyyyy younger. Like I was not allowed to wear a slip dress then).
