When visiting Florida in winter it’s important to bring along some light layers. While Central Florida hasn’t been particularly blessed with warm weather this winter, these layers are still important. I have sadly pulled out a winter coat at least 10 times since December. But I’ve also relied on light layers to get me through the mild winter days. Mild winter days in Florida are in the 70’s, at least for me. Other Floridians love the cold weather but I am unfortunately not one of them. So how do you go about layering for these odd weather days in Florida? I’m here to help! Parisian Style
The newest season of Emily in Paris has premiered and it has me thinking all about Parisian style. Not that I would say Emily has a lot of what I would consider Parisian style (much more designer style). However, it reminds me that by definition Parisian style relies on timeless pieces that you can wear year in and year out. (With maybe the exception of a beret). Maybe I just have beef with Emily this year, but I want to bring simple, classic styles back into the world. Hopefully this goes without saying but I’ll say it anyways, I am not an expert on actual Parisian fashion. I’ve never been…

New Year’s Eve Dress for 2023
I may be a few days late but I’m obsessed with my New Years Eve dress from this year’s festivities! A quick recap of event’s that happened in my life in 2022 that may also excuse my absence on here before the new year! These are the big 3 that stand out to me, and luckily they are all positive! (Minus working after Christmas, that’s not cool man). As a reminder, don’t let other people’s highlight reels of the year get you down. One year does not determine your life story. While saying goodbye to 2022 was bittersweet for me, it also offers so many new beginnings for 2023! I…

Christmas Eve Dress
Merry Christmas Eve! For years now, I’ve been trying to find the perfect Christmas Eve dress. Something that is both dressy, but casual and comfortable. As much as I love this vintage Christmas dress, it’s not exactly what I’m looking for on Christmas Eve. Michael’s family has a tradition of going to Nana’s on Christmas Eve and eating a feast. It’s a tradition I’m lucky to be a part of now. There’s every food imaginable, from shrimp, to pizza. With so much food, I really need a dress that stretches and is comfortable. I had seen this dress from J.Crew but wasn’t convinced it would look good on me. I…

Holiday Red Dress
Red is my favorite color to wear during the holiday season. Unfortunately, red is not a color I wear much outside of the holiday season. I used to own more of it, but started to weed it out of my closet as the years went by. There’s not much reason to keep a piece of clothing that only gets worn once a year. Luckily, I’ve started renting items that I know I won’t wear a lot. It saves me money, and space in my closet. Winter is a time of year that I especially rely on renting. Whether it’s a coat, or a holiday red dress, renting in winter is…

Give the Gift of Nuuly
Shipping deadlines for gifts are quickly approaching. But what if I told you, there’s a great gift that requires no shipping? (Before the holidays that is). If you’ve been around, you know how much I’ve grown to love renting from Nuuly. I love it so much that I talk about it constantly. The question I get asked now about my outfits is “Are you renting that?” Instead of “Where did you get that?” Even with all the talk about renting from Nuuly, I’ve noticed not many of my friends are family are willing to take the plunge and sign up for a subscription. So why not give the gift of…

Vintage Christmas Dress
When I saw this Nicola Bathie x Antonio Melani vintage print dress I knew I had found my Christmas dress for the year. The whole collection is full of vintage and antique details. Honestly, any one of the dresses in the collection would be perfect for the holiday season. The neckline and print is ultimately what led me to purchasing this vintage styled dress for Christmas. In particular, the print reminds me of Clara from the Nutcracker. If you’ve been following along, you’ll know how obsessed I’ve become with a floral and stripe print. And this vintage Christmas dress made all those dreams come true. But enough rambling, I wanted…

My Favorite Holiday Outfits Over the Years
It’s officially the holiday season! Which means now is the time to wear all your holiday outfits! It’s my goal to wear as many Christmas outfits as I can as I countdown to Christmas. The beautiful thing about the holiday season, is there’s a way to wear almost every color throughout it. You don’t have to just stick with red and green. Pinks, blues, gold, and so much more can help add some holiday cheer into any of your outfits. I wanted to take this time to not only share some of my holiday outfits from this year, but also years past. There’s so many looks that I’ve come to…

Wednesday Addams Inspired Outfits
Netflix and Tim Burton came out with the series Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving. Needless to say, it’s been a hit and I’m obsessed. Which is no surprise. Tim Burton is my favorite Director, and one of my favorite artist, ever. So regardless of if anyone else thought Wednesday was good, I was always going to love it. I could go on forever on why Wednesday is amazing. But one of the many reasons is Wednesday Addams outfits. I always wanted to be a “goth kid” in middle school and high school but I never had the courage to take it all the way. I was much more comfortable in…
