Time for this embroidered dress to have it’s 5 minutes of fame! I’ve shared it on social a handful of times already. It was also featured in last weeks blog post on spring finds from Amazon. After about 500 total pictures with this dress I figured it’s time for it to have it’s own dedicated blog post. It was hard to choose between photos so there’s a combination of a few different locations in this post. But maybe one day every post will just be this dress in different locations because I love it so much. Don’t just take my word for it though, read the Amazon reviews and you’ll see too!

Amazon Review – Embroidered Floral Dress
Since this embroidered dress is from Amazon I just want to give you my honest review of it. When ordering, the sizing is a big strange and hard to understand. There’s a range of sizes that you can order but just understand it’s all S, M, and L. Don’t let the numbers scare you or fool you. Therefore, I ordered the 4-6 size. (Though if I’m being honest, I’d usually order an XS or 0-2 but they didn’t have this option). The 4-6 is essentially a small and it fit much better than I was anticipating.
I’m petite and this is a maxi dress so I was, of course, concerned with the length. Then, I also am pretty flat chested so I wasn’t sure I’d be able to fill out the bust. Both of these were not an issue. The straps are adjustable so you can play with the height and bust fit a little bit. There is also no zipper but has shirring in back so there is plenty of stretch.
Fabric & Comfort
One thing to note is the cups of the dress are not lined and there’s really not a great bra to go under the dress. Because I’m flat chested it wasn’t a big deal to wear without a bra and I felt much more comfortable than I typically would. However, you may want to invest in a pair of pasties or a stick on bra if you are uncomfortable going braless.
Finally, the fabric is pretty heavy and is a bit more abrasive than your typical eyelet dress. The lining does a good job of this not being an issue, but it only goes so far. Once the dress slits there is no lining and you may feel the fabric. Also, depending on the color option, only the eyelet is embroidered on the dress, the floral is printed.
