This weekend I went to a wedding at the Lake Nona Country Club as a plus 1. Can you believe I attended another wedding? If you can’t, let me refer you back to the weddings in October, March, and April that I attended. The Lake Nona Country Club is very much what I would say is, my taste. It’s modern and elegant, has a grand staircase, and overlooks a lake. However, I now realize that an outdoor wedding in May in Florida is not ideal at all. The only fitting thing about the millions of lovebugs that I killed was their name and a glimmer of sweat is not a girls best accessory.
Lilly Pulitzer Wedding Dress
I felt like the odd man out a little because I was the plus 1. Luckily I knew that the bride is a huge fan of Lilly Pulitzer, which made dress shopping a breeze. This didn’t call for a subtle Lilly Pulitzer print, but a bold and bright one! There had been a few Lilly dresses on my list that I thought could work until one day I stumbled upon this beauty. It was the perfect combination of bright and flirty for this wedding. I’m excited to wear it for much much more this summer and try it out with some different accessories. But for now, I’ll end with another Happily Ever After.
