Best news ever! Lilly Pulitzer has just announced it will be having a Surprise Sale this weekend! They aren’t releasing many details, but it appears it may be a little different than the After Party Sale structure. Here’s what we do know:

- 600 Styles up to 60% off
- All sale items are final
With these details, it sounds like there will be styles from recent and current seasons available! It reminds me of the 30% off sale they did at the beginning of the covid pandemic.
What’s in the Lilly Surprise Sale?
Unlike the Sunshine Sale, Lilly has not provided many previews. They have shared a few items that you can expect to see in the sale though. With all the buzz around Palm Royale, this sale could not have come at a better time! Stock up on those bright colored shift dresses for summer and live out your Palm Beach dreams!
Tips for Shopping the Lilly Surprise Sale
Even though this sale will be a little different than the Sunshine sale, there’s some tips that are always useful. Check them out below before the sale starts tomorrow!
Update Your Billing & Shipping Information BEFORE the Sale
This is the No. 1 tip that I have! Go right now to LillyPulitzer.com and update your billing and shipping info. It takes 10 minutes tops to do now, but trust me, those 10 minutes during the sale can mean getting products and not. While you’re at it, remember to write down all your log in information so you don’t forget it when the Lilly Pulitzer Surprise Sale starts!
Get in the Virtual Line Early
While Lilly hasn’t released a start time yet, they are hinting at it coming out soon. Odds are, lots of people will try and get on the Lilly Pulitzer website right at the start of the surprise sale. The Lilly website can only handle so many visitors at one time so I anticipate they will use their virtual line to keep the website from crashing. However, many recent sales there are much shorter virtual lines, and almost no wait to shop later in the day. I’d still recommend you get to the site a few minutes early. Why? Because many items available at the start of the sale won’t be available even an hour later. Remember, once you’re in line and in the sale, DO NOT HIT REFRESH. If you refresh the page, you’ll be put at the end of the virtual line and have to wait all over again.
Use Filters
I cannot stress this enough. When shopping the sale put on your size filter. This works to your advantage for a couple of reasons. First, it will only show you items that are still available in your size. This saves you from the disappointment of seeing items that aren’t in your size to begin with. Second, it allows you to shop the sale faster. With sales like these time is of the essence. There’s no guarantee that what you put in your cart 10 minutes before will be there when you check out. Eliminating the items that aren’t in your size will allow you to navigate the sale more efficiently.
Have a Budget
This Lilly surprise sale, as the name suggests, definitely came as a surprise to me! I had planned on not spending money on clothes this month, but we’ll see what this sale has in store! If there’s an item I’ve been eyeing available in the sale, I might just get it! Either way, it’s still important to stick to a budget. Whether that’s $50, $100, or more.
