Pastel Set in Pink Tie Dye

Another day another Target find. I’m so excited to have my hands on a silk set that was not only spring worthy, but also affordable. There are plenty of matching sets out there that are far over priced (no matter how cute they are). And I just wasn’t sold on this silky material enough to buy something extravagant or expensive. Then Target came in and saved the day with this gorgeous pastel set. It’s hard to tell in photos but it features a very light pink and white tie dye. I’m not typically a fan of tie dye (which is a bit shocking because I do love bright Lilly prints) but I really love this muted pastel. It’s so subtle you almost can’t tell it’s not a solid color. With how bright the other set I got from Target was, this pastel was a great contrast.

Thoughts on this Set

I wanted to share my review on this set, just in case you’re on the fence and want some info. First and foremost, I was not expecting the fabric to be as heavenly as it is. It’s soft yet slippery but without the sheen of many other silk sets. I think the muted material adds to the muted print well. The fit is great and runs true to size (I’m wearing my usual XS). I’d prefer the length a little shorter but it does hit true to the picture. It might just be because I’m petite. However, with all of that said, this particular color is very very sheer. I’d recommend nude undergarments and a slip for the skirt if you choose this color. If this tie dye pastel isn’t you thing, they pieces also come in black, olive green, and a dark pink. (Also the top comes in a few prints as well that I might just have to snag!)

Not like you all don’t know but, I really love pastels for spring. Therefore, I wanted to share a few other pastel sets that I am obsessed with right now. I even have the pastel floral blue set from Target because, how could I not? Pastels and floral for spring? Groundbreaking.
