It’s that time of the year again where one of my favorite color combos has it’s time to shine! Pink and red has always been one of my favorite combinations, but come Valentine’s Day, it’s one of everyone’s favorites! When I saw this bow dress, it wasn’t a matter of if I would wear it, but when I would wear it. Luckily it is available to purchase but also to rent! So I didn’t have to spend a fortune either way. (It’s on sale in certain colors right now, so if you want to own it, don’t miss out!) It fit like a glove and it has pockets! Not to mention, the pink and red colorblock combo is exactly what I was looking to wear during the Valentine’s season.

I wasn’t entirely sure where I would end up wearing this dress, but I knew I had a couple events coming up that I could wear it to. While I could have worn it to a wedding tonight, I opted for another dress that I rented. This pink and red bow dress is plenty formal, but it felt more in my everyday wear than formal wear. (Because I’m weird like that and everyone else’s formal is my casual. And my formal is gala. So please, specify what you mean to me or I will show up in a ballgown for brunch). I ended up wearing this around the house on the weekends and to church. If I had been asked to brunch (someone, please ask me to brunch) I 100% would have worn this dress to it. It’s formal and dramatic, but still plenty comfortable. (And did I mention, it has pockets!)
