I can hardly believe that I attended my first Disney World Dapper Day only a year ago! It feels like I’ve gone to a million, but maybe that’s just because I tend to dress up for Disney days a lot. This fall I was all ready and excited for being Princess Aurora for Dapper Day…but then disaster struck! I pricked my finger on a spindle and the rest is history. I’m just kidding. The weather this past weekend was just not up to par so I decided to be cozy all weekend. However I didn’t want to miss out on sharing this outfit so I took some pictures at home instead.

Becoming Princess Aurora for Dapper Day
I knew that I wanted to be Princess Aurora for Dapper Day when I saw this dress on Shein. Does “Make it pink! Make it blue!” ring a bell to anyone? I thought this dress was the perfect representation of the ending scene in Sleeping Beauty. Not to mention, the dress is extremely affordable (which you know I’m all about). The rest of the outfit required little to no effort on my part. This simple crown I made out of shiny scrapbook paper to top it off. I also looked into purchasing a Danielle Nicole handbag for the occasion but then decided not too. Considering how little I use my Tinker Bell Danielle Nicole handbag even though I love it I thought I should save the money. Even if one of her Sleeping Beauty handbags would have totally set this outfit over the top.
I’ve pretty much given up at finding Disney couples that work with two blondes. I gave my boyfriend the choice to dress up even with the wrong color hair (because somehow Prince Phillip grows up and his hair turns brown, or a very dirty blonde. I’m not sure). Instead of trying to put an outfit together he voted to just be the photographer. He even tried getting a little fancy with the pictures even though they weren’t taken at Disney.
