One of my favorite Rent the Runway items so far has been this ruffle dress by Prabal Gurung. It is no doubt one of the most perfect dresses I have ever seen for a wedding guest dress. While I didn’t actually get to wear it to a wedding (come on, all these weddings I’ve attended and none this year in the summer?)I loved every second I had it on for. The quality is impeccable and feels amazing on your skin. It fit like a glove and don’t even get me started on the print! It is so fabulous.

This ruffle dress was from my first Rent the Runway order. Let’s just say, it did not let me down! While other pieces that I rent were certainly more worn, (What did I expect? I’m renting these items, not buying them new) this dress looked and felt brand new! Even though it’s made of polyester, it felt like silk on my body. The colors in the print are all colors I’m obsessed with right now, including blues and greens! This print is even available on various other items from the designer. I can’t wait to get my hands on them to wear this pretty floral print more!
Wedding Guest Dresses for Spring/Summer
Summer may be coming to a close but I personally can’t stop thinking about spring. I’ve planned to have an early spring wedding next year so wedding guest dresses are on my mind. While I won’t be wearing this ruffle dress to my own wedding, I certainly think it would be great for any of my guest to wear. Since I’ve got wedding attire on my mind, I wanted to share some other dresses that I thought would be perfect for the occasion. I’m looking forward to a formal, black tie event, so I don’t apologize for how fancy these may seem!
