One of my favorite spring and summer trends is ric rac trim. Though I’ll be honest, I don’t know the right way to spell it. Ric Rac, Rick Rack, RicRac, RickRack? Who knows? Clearly no one because you’ll find it spelled every which way all over the internet. This has made it quite hard to find pieces that I want to add to my collection. At least, hard to find affordable pieces. Maybe ric rac is just expensive or maybe just expensive brands use it. Whatever the case, I want it all and can’t have any of it. The one ric rac piece that I own is secondhand Vineyard Vines from Poshmark. It’s absolutely stunning but I wish there was more out there that was more affordable and not secondhand. However, for the sake of this post I’m sharing everything I can find.

Ric Rac Favorites
I tried to find a variety of price ranges so that everyone could enjoy or add pieces to their closet. The prices range from around $40 all the way up to $500. As you might guess, the hundreds are a little out of my price range right now, but a girl can dream. The extra good news is that the one dress that I really have my eye on right now is under $50, which is a total steal. I also really love these espadrilles. They are classic but with a fun twist. The navy ones are definitely on my wishlist of things I can’t afford. Hopefully as the spring and summer seasons go on there will be even more affordable items out there.
Ebay & Poshmark Finds
If you’re looking for affordable pieces to add to your closet right now or favorites from seasons past, be sure to check out Poshmark or Ebay. Like I said at the beginning of the post no one knows how to spell this, so try as many iterations of rick rack as you can. I scored this Vineyard Vines maxi dress last year from Poshmark for under $50. I’ve seen a couple on Ebay for even less than that and linked them below.
