No need to beat around the bush to start this post. When I saw the previews for this floral crop top, I was immediately sold. I mean, just look at them! The vibes are just *chef’s kiss*. As much as it was love at first site, I waited to purchase it. (A tried and true strategy of saving money on clothes – sleep on it). After sleeping on it and staring at it for hours, I finally swiped the card.
My main concern was, what was I going to wear it with?! I like the matching skirt, but didn’t have the budget to buy that too. And I love the idea of it styled as swim, but I’d rather have a real swim top than a poplin top. Then it hit me, my pink shorts from J.Crew! I bought them a few years back on Poshmark and they are one of my most worn shorts during the summer. With an outfit plan in mind, I had no more apprehensions to buying this floral crop top.

Without a doubt, my favorite way to style a crop top is with something high waisted. Admittedly, I’m still not totally comfortable bearing my whole stomach. Even in bikinis, I’ve found my love for a high waist bottom. It helps me feel more confident and show off my curves in the right way.
